Elko Crane Rental

How a crane quote works

Elko Crane Rental is a quote-request service for Elko County, Nevada. Here is what happens to your request, and who does what.

We are not a crane company

Elko Crane Rental does not own cranes, employ operators, rig loads or perform lifts. We take the details of your lift and pass them to independent crane and rigging operators who work Elko County. Those operators quote you directly.

The price, the rental agreement, the insurance and the lift itself are between you and the operator you pick. We are not a party to that contract, and we do not supervise the work.

Why use a request service at all? You describe the lift once, in plain terms, instead of calling around and repeating the load, the reach and the site rules to each yard.

What happens to your request

Four stages, in order. Nothing is booked until you agree a price and a date with an operator.

  • You send the liftFill in the quote form: the job, the heaviest load, the height and reach, the site, the ground and access, overhead power lines, and any site requirements such as an MSHA-trained crew, an NCCCO-certified operator or a lift plan. Rough numbers are fine and "not sure" is a valid answer. You can also message on WhatsApp with photos of the load, the set point and the access, or send a drawing.
  • We pass it onWe read the request and send the details to local operators whose cranes and crews look right for the lift and the site. We may add the photos you sent. At this point you have not committed to anything.
  • Operators quote youAn operator contacts you with the questions it still has: where the crane can set up, how firm the ground is, what the site requires. It may ask to see the site. Then it sends you a price and a date. You may hear from more than one operator, or from none.
  • You choose and bookYou compare what you receive and book the operator you prefer. Ask for what your site demands: the operator's certification card, training records, a certificate of insurance, a lift plan. The agreement is between you and the operator.

Who does what

Responsibilities on a crane job arranged through this site
WhoWhat they do
YouDescribe the lift as well as you can, tell the operator about power lines and site rules, choose the operator, agree the price and schedule, and make sure your site's rules are met.
Elko Crane RentalReceives your request, passes it to local operators, and adds the photos or drawings you send. That is all.
The operatorQuotes the job, supplies the crane and crew, holds the certification and insurance, plans and carries out the lift, and answers for the work.

What we do with your details

Your request is emailed to us through a form-handling service and sent on to the independent operators who may quote you, so they can see the job and contact you. We do not sell your details. The privacy policy lists what the form collects and how to ask for deletion.

What we do not promise

  • Availability. An operator may be booked, out of range or not set up for your kind of lift.
  • A response time. We pass requests on, but operators answer on their own schedule.
  • A price. Any figure on this site is a typical market reference, not an offer. Each operator sets its own price. See the terms of use.
  • The quality of any operator's work. Ask for certification and insurance paperwork before you book.

Before you send

A request with the load, the reach and the site gets a faster, more useful quote. If you already know the kind of machine, start from its page.
