Privacy policy
What we collect when you ask for a crane quote, who sees it, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 30 October 2026.
Who we are
Elko Crane Rental is a quote-request service for Elko County, Nevada. We pass crane, boom truck and rigging requests to independent local operators, who quote you directly. We do not own cranes or perform lifts. Read how it works.
To ask us a privacy question or to have your details deleted, use the buttons below. We don't list an email address or phone number on the page.
What the quote form collects
Only what you type or pick in the form, plus a few technical details:
- The job: the type of crane or service, the heaviest load, lift height, reach, number of lifts and a description of what you are lifting.
- The site: the job site (town, mine or address), type of site, ground and access, whether there are overhead power lines, whether you want an operator and rigging, and site requirements such as MSHA-trained crew, an NCCCO-certified operator or a lift plan.
- Dates: the start date and how long the job runs.
- You: your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and how you prefer to be contacted. A name and at least an email or a phone number are needed for an operator to reach you.
- Technical details: the address of the page you sent the form from, the first page you landed on during your visit and the site that sent you, if any. Your browser keeps the last two in session storage until you close the tab, and they are sent with the form.
Please don't put anything sensitive in the free-text box, such as a government ID number or a payment card number. A crane quote doesn't need them.
Who receives it
When you send the form, it is delivered to us by email through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-handling service that acts as our processor and relays the message to our inbox.
We then pass the job details and your contact details to independent local crane and rigging operators who may quote you, so that they can see the job and contact you. Those operators are separate businesses. Once they have your details they handle them under their own practices, and they may contact you by phone, text, email or WhatsApp, as you chose in the form.
We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.
WhatsApp and email
If you message us on WhatsApp or by email instead of using the form, we receive your number or address and whatever you send, such as photos of the load. We use it to answer you and to add it to your request before it goes to operators. WhatsApp is run by Meta and handles messages under its own terms and privacy policy; your email provider does the same for email.
The WhatsApp button on every page only opens WhatsApp when you tap it.
Cookies, fonts and hosting
Cookies and analytics. At the moment this site does not run analytics or advertising and sets no tracking cookies. If we add Google Analytics, we will say so on this page first.
Fonts. The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google sees your IP address when it does.
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which sees technical request data such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages.
Keeping and deleting your details
We keep a request for as long as it is useful for handling your enquiry and any follow-up. You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it or delete it: use the WhatsApp or email button above and say which request you mean.
If you ask us to delete a request, we delete our copy and tell the operators we passed it to. Each operator is responsible for its own copy, so ask the operator too if you were already in touch.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
